Battle System Confusion

Ok, so I’m a battle topic, Ferretpaw used the Grapple move. How long is this effective, exactly? I wasn’t sure if it was like a one-hit thing or if the opponent had to roll something or what.

Don't worry, the move can be confusing!

So a successful grapple roll lasts for three turns, but to determine the success of the move, your opponent will need to roll the dice and see if their character can flip the situation! If they fail to roll a higher number, then their character will be held for the appropriate three turns- although they do have the choice of rolling to try and escape, or just fighting it out with moves excluding claws & teeth.
