Lynxkit's Apprentice Ceremony

It had been a good bit of time since Cloudbreeze last had to apprentice kits. Of course, now that there were more in the Clan, she once more lept to her place. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the High Rock for a Clan meeting!" The she-cat called.

Her fur was very neatly slicked back against her small frame, revealing how tiny and lithe the molly actually was. For a 6 month old kit she hardly looked it, but there was a surprising amount of energy stored in her body, displayed by the way she had bounced out into the clearing at the call of a ceremony. Excitement radiated from her chocolate-brown fur as she waited patiently for her ceremony to commence.

Purring gently, the deputy nodded. "Lynxkit. You have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. Until you are granted your warrior name, you shall be known as Lynxpaw, and I will be your mentor." Dismissing the clan, the deputy lept down to touch noses with her new apprentice.
