Badgerkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Cloudbreeze swiftly lept up to her place, the age-old tradition familiar to her bones and every part of her.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highrock for a clan meeting!"

Badgerkit strutted out of the nursery with a smirk. This was his apprentice ceremony and he wanted everyone to see how tough he was. Badgerkit sat down near the front for when he got called up.

As the clan gathered, the amber gaze sitting above the rest of the clan quickly spotted the one who was the reason for the clan being summoned. With pride in her voice, she called out to her clanmates. "Thunderclan, it is time for one of our kits to be apprenticed. Badgerkit has reached the ages of six moons old, and from this moon forth, shall be known as Badgerpaw. Sandbreeze will be his mentor."

Sandbreeze watched from the edge of the crowd of cats as Badgerkit became Badgerpaw, his new apprentice. Already, the tom could tell he was going to be a pawful. Barely six moons old and he carried himself like he owned the clan itself. He was Lightningstar's son though, so it didn't much surprise him. The sandy colored tom stepped forward and gazed down at the his young apprentice. "Come on then. We better get started," Sandbreeze said as he left camp.
