Way Over Yonder (open!)

Logleap had escaped from the camp with one subject hot on his mind. Herbs, herbs, herbs.

The tiny leaves and flowers and cobwebs seemed to have overtaken his life. His dreams were full of endless streams of herbs - and his waking moments contained only worry over quantity and quality of herbs, especially given the season. He had an unsettling fear that one day he would awaken - and boom! He himself would become an herb. Or perhaps a cobweb. He could not figure which was worse, to be eaten or to be applied to someone's wound. Perhaps a flower then. The tom paused in his trek at a sudden realization. Could that mean some of his herb stores could be former medicine cats transformed into herbs?

His eye twitched and he crept forward again. He had clearly not slept enough last night. Logleap focused on the placement of his paws, careful and determined not to step on anything besides the chilled forest ground. Right foot, left foot. One step after another until -

Wham! Logleap squealed in shock as he rammed into the fallen oak head first. He jumped to his paws and rushed for cover, but in his now dazed state, managed only to stumble about wildly. "Don't attack! I have sharp claws and plenty of berries!" the medicine cat meowed to anyone close enough to listen. He shook his head from side to side to clear his head after the attack from the log. Warriors beware, he thought to himself as he glanced about.

Mistedsong had been on the prowl for catmint for some time now, trying to build his stores just in case greencough decided to sweep camp late this leafbare, as it had done before. He had ended up near the ThunderClan end of SkyClan territory, with very little to actually show for the hours he'd been out of camp. The medicine cat was incredibly startled to hear a distant thunk and the yowl of a cat, just far enough away that he couldn't discern the words.

The grey tom swept up the few catmint leaves he'd laid on the ground nearby while he searched for more and trotted off towards the noise, not running for fear of damaging the leaves but walking quickly enough to arrive relatively quickly. He was greeted by the sight of a thoroughly dazed Logleap, and Mistedsong could not help but bust into laughter. "Well hello Logleap, are you okay?" the tom huffed out between chuckles.
