Hopping up to the top of High Rock with ease, Lightningstar stood at the edge of the hunk of the stone, his long fur catching the calm, Greenleaf breeze that blew through the camp. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gathering beneath High Rock for a clan meeting!" the large leader yowled over the buzzing clan bellow. Today, he would give one of ThunderClan's apprentices and one of his sons; Bigpaw, his warrior name. Even with the looming threat that was the rogue group, sis clan grew stronger with each passing sunrise and he couldn't have been more proud of every-cat for staying strong and loyal. Bigpaw was certainly one of his more... unusual kits, but he still deserved his warrior name and Lightningstar knew the young tom would do him and ThunderClan proud.

~~~~~
Hearing his name called, Bigpaw let out a purr of excitement as he exited the apprentice den. Padding to the base of High Rock where his father stood, the big-boned apprentice sat down with a thump, his eager eyes locked onto the leader above. Today he would receive his warrior name and wondered what name Lightningstar had chosen for him.
~~~~~

Once Bigpaw took his place bellow High Rock and the clan settled down, Lightningstar continued. "I, Lightningstar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Bigpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" the fluffy leader asked, meeting his son's gaze. It had been especially easy to decide on what Bigpaw's warrior name would be, seeing as though there was only one name that was truly fitting for such a sizable tom...

~~~~~
"I do!" the golden warrior exclaimed with excitement at his father's question. His usual wide, goofy grin sat on his muzzle and his tail swished back and forth in anticipation. He definitely wasn't the most noble or intelligent of toms, but he still wanted nothing more than to protect his clan, even if it took him a bit longer to comprehend things than his clanmates.
~~~~~

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Bigpaw, from this moment you will be known as Bigfoot. StarClan honors your strength and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan," Lightningstar called over the gathered clan. Once he was done saying his ceremonial words, the leader jumped down from High Rock. Padding over to the newly named Bigfoot, Lightningstar touched his muzzle to the top of the former apprentice's head. "Congratulations," the deep voiced tom mewed simply before stepping back to let the rest of the clan flock forward and chant Bigfoot's name.

~~~~~
Sitting up tall, the newly named Bigfoot soaked in the sound of his father's voice as he declared his new name. Bigfoot... well, he certainly did have big paws, that was for sure, so it was only fitting. Trying his best to look put-together as Lightningstar approached, Bigfoot practically held his breath at his father's momentary embrace. "T-thank you," he stuttered before letting out his breath as Lightningstar stepped back and left. Looking around at his surrounding clanmates, a smile grew on his muzzle once more as his name was chanted into the air. He was finally a warrior and now, he could really protect his clan.
