Blazekit's Apprentice Ceremony

Leaping upon the High-Rock, Cloudbreeze called out to her clan. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the High Rock for a clan meeting!"

Blazekit walked out of the nursery glaring at everyone around him. He sat down next to his mother with a fake smile not liking being around so many cats that he didn't trust. He knew this was his ceremony from his mother and wondered if he would be able to trust his mentor.

Looking towards the kit in question, Cloudbreeze gave him a nod and quick signal to step forward. "Blazekit, you have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to be apprenticed. Until you receive your warrior name, you shall be known as Blazepaw. Sandbreeze will be your mentor." She nodded, then dismissing the clan as they chanted for the new apprentice.

Blazepaw glared up at his mentor but touched noses with them anyway. If he was going to be a warrior he would have to learn to get used to his new mentor.
