Dovekit padded out of the nursery with a shy smile. It was time for her to be an apprentice and even though she was excited she was also nervous to be around so many cats. she gave a slight smile to the deputy before sitting down, curling her tail around her paws.

"Dovekit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to become an apprentice." Leopardspot meowed solemnly, "From this day on until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Dovepaw. Lilystream shall be your mentor. May she teach you everything she knows." After finishing, she descended to the crowd to congratulate the two cats.
