Eveningkit and Nightkit's Apprentice Ceremony

With Cloudbreeze having been busy, Lightningstar decided to perform some apprentice ceremonies, seeing as though the young cats seemed eager as ever and he didn't want to keep them from getting to their apprentice training. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather bellow High Rock for a clan meeting!" the large, fluffy leader called from the top of his usual spot upon the rock.

Eveningkit and Nightkit padded up towards the high rock one clearly more excited than the other. They sat beneath the high rock with their clan mates and waited for Lightningstar to start the meeting.

Looking down as the apprentices joined the growing crowd of cats, Lightningstar continued. Eveningkit, Nightkit, please step forward. You have both reached the age of six moons and it is time you become apprentices. Eveningkit, until you receive your warrior name, you shall be known as Eveningpaw; Ferretfang will be your mentor. Nightkit, until you receive your warrior name, you shall be known as Nightpaw, and your mentor will be Oakleap. I trust they will teach you both well," he finished with a nod before starting to chant both of their names with the rest of the clan.

Eveningpaw flicked his tail excitement coursing through his body he butted his head onto his brothers shoulder.

Nightpaw purred in glee as his brother butted his shoulder. They were finally apprentices!
