Foxpaw's Warrior Ceremony

White clouds formed whenever Firestar breathed out. Cold. Absolutely freezing. The setting sun making it worse the longer she stood atop Jaggedrock. But the cold could freeze the pride she felt for a certain apprentice.

"All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather here beneath Jaggedrock!"

It was finally time. The only strength the she-cat could find was in the knowledge that her parents were watching over her at this moment.

Foxpaw padded forward, joining the small crowd in the cold weather.

"We gather here today to grant one of our apprentices with a warrior name."

Firestar cleared her throat. "Foxpaw, during your time as an apprentice you've proved to show loyalty in upholding our laws. Please step forward."

The apprentice stepped forward, quickly licking down a stray tuft of hair. She looked up at the leader, nervous to hear the words leave the leader's mouth.

It felt a bit rushed. All warrior ceremonies seemed to be these days... Her love for her Clan held more than just a few simple words, but that was how tradition goes, she guessed. "Foxpaw, with the power granted to me by StarClan, you will now until the end of your days be known as Foxfang. Continue to do your clan proud."
