She refuses, A storms off saying he could find a 'better mate' anyway. Saddened but relieved that their toxic friendship is over she starts hanging out with B. Eventually they become warriors and B asks C to become his mate. Unsure C says she wants time to think about it. Not wanting to say no because she's unsure of her feelings towards him and she doesn't want to lose their friendship. She tries to decide. Meanwhile A and B square off, both of them care for her.
Now I've thought of a few endings to this plot (vote on your favourite):
Endings:
1. C realises she doesn't love either toms, that they're both stupid and acting ridiculous trying to fight over her. She's sick of losing friends who supposedly 'care' about her. She ditches them both and makes better friends who don't vye for her attention. Both toms come to the conclusion this is their fault, they smothered her with attention when their only interest was to become her mate.
2. C realises she likes B and wants to be with him. Unfortunately A has killed B out of anger and what was meant to be just a fight has turned into a murder. It was unintentional. Everyone is devastated, A because he's lost all his friends and C because she lost the tom she loved.
3. A murders B in cold blood. He is then exiled by the leader of their Clan. He sulks off to become a rouge, he is occasionally encountered in the forest spying on C, obsessively. C has to be guarded when out of camp less he try to corner her and attack her. C is left fearing for her life, paranoid and alone.
4. A murders B in cold blood. Full of anger C reacts instinctively, killing A. She is either exiled by her Clans leader or the leader understanding the situation somewhat allows her to stay but she is severely punished. C, alone, sinks into a deep depression unable to make more friends because the whole Clan fear her.
5. C realises she does love B. She says yes to his proposal, they live happily. C and B decide to speak to A about what happened. They have a civilised discussion in which A realises that he was acting in a toxic way towards C trying to constrict what she does and who she sees. He apologises, realising he burnt his bridges with his two friends he goes on to make more friends. They are all still somewhat friendly.
