Heavykit's Apprentice Ceremony

Cloudbreeze, still upon the High Rock after apprenticing Bigpaw, had allowed the clan to dismiss for the evening meal. But it was time to apprentice one more kit. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey yet again gather beneath High Rock for a clan meeting!"

Heavykit had only just congratulated his brother when another call to gather sounded. Oblivious to what it could be with his thoughts occupied only with food, the large and continuously growing tom sat down at High Rock.

Cloudbreeze saw her ever-nomming brother and had a smile grace her maw. "We also apprentice another kit today. Heavykit also has reached the age of six moons, and so he will join the ranks of the apprentices as well. So, Heavykit, I am proud to say until you earn your warrior name, you shall be known as Heavypaw. Valerianroot will be your mentor, and I have full faith he will pass down all the knowledge you need."

With that, she finally lept down from her place, cheering her siblings' name.

Perking his ears as his name was called, Valerianroot padded up to his new apprentice, who also happened to be his younger brother. Him and Bigpaw had been growing in size more so than he'd ever seen kits grow, and they would certainly live up to their names some day. Making his way over to the hefty tom, Valerianroot dipped his nose down to touch his apprentice's. "I look forward to training with you, Heavypaw," the stoic tom mewed softly before taking a step back.
