Hailpaw's Warrior Ceremony

This was one he had meaning to get to for a while, but with everything that has happened recently, he wasn't able to get to it. But for now, it was time for Hailpaw's ceremony. Silverstar walked out of his den and approached the High Ledge. As he stood on the edge of it, he cleared his throat before calling out, "Let all cats old enough to gather their own prey, gather here beneath the High Ledge for a clan meeting!"

Hailpaw raised his head from where he was laying. He got up and sat down, not knowing it was his warrior ceremony.

Silverstar watched as the white tom approached. Once everyone was gathered, he called for Hailpaw to step forward. After that, he spoke. "I, Silverstar, leader of SkyClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained well to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn." His golden eyes stared into the apprentice's. "Hailpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to protect and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Hailpaw realized the moment he was called to step forward that it was his warrior ceramony. Hailpaw stepped forward and looked up at Silverstar. "I do." He said.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Hailpaw, from this day forth, you shall be known as Hailstorm. StarClan honors your strength and energy, and we welcome you as a full member of SkyClan." Silverstar spoke before jumping off of the High Ledge and resting his chin on Hailstorm's forehead. The leader stepped backwards as the clan began cheering his new name.

Hailstorm couldn't contain his excitment as he became a warrior. A full fledged member of Skyclan! The small skinny white tom looked around excitedly, as he relished the cheers from his clanmates. He even saw his parents, giving him a soft smile of approvel. He puffed out his chest happily and proudly, feeling acompilshed.
