Mistypaw sat outside the apprentice den, the reddish light of the setting sun staining her grey tabby pelt an awkward brownish color. After getting back from her patrols, instead of resting like some cats would, she liked to watch her surroundings. The birds flying above, the constant change in the sky's colors, the bustle of the cats around her, all things that distracted her. Most cats would think that to be boring and would quickly walk away and do something else, but not her. She found joy in little things like that.
It wasn't long before the sun set, bringing a darkness across the clans like a pitch-black blanket. The only light sources were of the moon and stars. One last thing Mistypaw enjoyed; stargazing. Nothing brought her more joy than gazing up at silverpelt to admire the billions of glowing lights that filled the sky. By now, most cats were asleep but her, with the exception of the camp guard- at least that's what she though. After a few moments of watching the night sky, something stirred nearby her. Looking over, a dark figure emerged from the apprentice den. She couldn't yet tell who exactly who the cat was yet, but she saw that the cat had a relatively fluffy grey coat. It wasn't uncommon for a cat to wake up in the middle of the night, but she might as well start a conversation. "Hey there, who are you?" Her words may have come across as cold or untrusting, but she certainly didn't mean for them to be. She looked over the cat that stood in front of her, waiting for an answer.
