A Dash of white (closed)

Whitepaw was cuddling up next to thornpaw when he realized wat time it was. "Sorry thornpaw, I gotta go on a hunting patrol." he mewed licking the toms forehead before getting up and heading towards the entrance. He waited with a smile on his face. Yes he loved spending time with Thornpaw but getting out with the warriors was good experience.

"Your on patrol with me, hm? Let's get going then." Their hunting patrol was to be a small one but Dashfoot was determined either way. The clan needed prey in preparation for leaf bare when their stomachs would no doubt rumble constantly, or so she had heard, this would be the warrior's first leafbare. Her gaze found Whitepaw, to whom she offered a warm smile. As of yet there wasn't sight or scent of much. Dashfoot's over-sized pads drove her across the moor and she briefly broke out into a run. Finally, when she slowed, the she-cat turned towards her companion, "Have you done much hunting yet, Whitepaw?"

Whitepaw padded behind dashfoot as this was his first time hunting without thornpaw. As they walked, whitepaw was curious to find out more about dashfoot. He never really spent time with the older cat. When she asked him a question he instantly replied. "I did some hunting with Thornpaw but umm don't tell shrikecall, he would be mad I didn't train first." he mewed. Sometimes thornpaw's dad scared whitepaw, and he was his mentor! "you must hunt a lot though, you're a warrior afterall, is it cool?" He asked trying to get his mind off of a certain tom he liked.
