What!? Fern isn’t up to anything!? (Open)

(That’s right THIS IS A NO PRANKING TOPIC :D)

Fernpaw laid in the center of camp on the snowy ground trying to get some sleep under the sunlight but the camp was making to much noise. “can you guys shut up! I’m trying to nap!” she yowled at no one in particular. She was running out of prank ideas so this feisty she-cat was a little cranky.

Wildstar padded back into camp after doing a quick patrol, carrying a small rabbit in his jaws. The borders were safe between the other clans so he decided to make a detour to get some pray. However, it was still early morning so not many animals were out and about. He heard Fernpaw yell at somebody so once he placed the rabbit in the pile he turned to the she-cat. ”Everything okay? You seem frustrated at something.”

“There is nothing for me to do, I have no more pranks.” she sighed up at her leader.

(This is before gathering so she still thinks pranks are good)

The WindClan leader had forgotten what it was like to be an apprentice when it was fun to run around causing trouble. "I would've taken you on my patrol if I had known you were so bored, but I don't think you were awake yet." he said with a purr. "Maybe you can get your mentor and another apprentice or two and you can go out for some hunting. Or, we can see if the kits are awake and you can throw around a moss ball to get them out of their mothers' furs for awhile."

Fernpaw nodded along with the ideas. “Mudmask is busy and my friends are busy so maybe I will play with harekit and patchkit.” she mewed thinking about her younger friends.

Wildstar nodded in approval. "I'll come with you if you'd like. I've been meaning to check in on the nursery anyways to see how the den is holding up and if something needs to be done about its construction," he said, hoping that there wasn't a draft getting through. That could give the kits (and the queens) a chill that might be harmful to the entire nursery.

Fernpaw padded into the nursery and quietly looked around for harekit.

Harekit was staring up at the ceiling boredly, reaching her paws up in the air, trying to keep herself occupied. She rolled onto her side upon hearing someone enter the den, glancing upwards at the newcomer. Her eyes lit up. "Oh! Fernpaw! Whatcha doin' here?"

Fernpaw smiled at her little friend. “I’m bored so wanted to see if you could play.” she mewed.
