| On Fate of the Warriors we encourage all of our members to create personal plots or suggest exciting plots that could potentially be used by Staff for a future site-wide event. However, Staff doesn’t have time to comb through the Plotting Boards 24/7 and hunt for information in regards to every potential plot- so, from here on out, all plots must be submitted to Staff for approval!
Basic Information :
- Although we encourage all of our members to create all sorts of plot shenanigans, please keep in mind that Staff will always control the main story of the site itself.
- Staff [specifically our Admins] have the right to cancel any plot if needed, although this should be a fairly infrequent occurrence. Potential reasons for plot cancellation would be: the plot in question clashes too much with a site-wide event, the plot is causing too much OOC drama between users, etc. If you are concerned that your plot might run the risk of being cancelled, please contact Staff so that we can help you review and make sure that there aren’t any issues!
General Plotting Rules :
- All plots must be in compliance with the main rules of the site: Code of Conduct & Roleplaying Rules and Expectations.
- If your plot involves a Forbidden Romance or a Personal Prophecy from StarClan make sure that you have purchased the needed items from the Fate of the Warriors Store! Although Staff would prefer that the needed items are purchased before the plot begins, we understand that CC can take a little time to save up. However, these purchases should be done ASAP.
- Plots should be plausible and serve a purpose. Random things shouldn’t happen to your character for the sake of happening, they should add to a character’s overall story or development.
- If your plot involves the participation with a Clan’s Leader/Deputy/Medicine Cat, you need to speak to that specific character’s roleplayer beforehand and make sure that they’re okay with it. For example: if you’re planning a coup, you shouldn’t just blindside a Leader/Deputy with the plot, make sure that you’ve spoken to them and they’re comfortable with the plot. The best plots happen whenever users work together.
- If your plot is approved by Staff, please make sure to regularly update us with its progress. We need to be able to keep track of its progress to ensure that no plots are left in limbo due to being half-complete.
- Remember that we’re all here to have fun and enjoy ourselves! Staff understands that we all get invested in our characters, but we shouldn’t ever get so overly invested that the plot is overtaken by OOC salt wars and nobody can enjoy themselves.
