Silkkit had wandered out of camp. Who could blame her? She was just too curious. “It’s dangerous, Silkkit. Don’t go out there, Silkkit. Yeah well...this doesn’t seem so bad after all...” Silkkit said to herself. Her mother and father had always told her stories about kits who died wandering outside of camp. She flicked her tail, glancing around. The forest was new, and beautiful. As she soaked in the rays of warm sunshine, something made a cracking noise. Silkkit turned around, slightly confused. Thinking it was nothing, she lied down on a patch of warm sunshine, closing her eyes and sighing. “The forest isn’t dangerous...” She yawned. The crack sounded again, and this time Silkkit was annoyed. Cracking open one eye, she looked up. A grinning, malicious looking rogue was staring at her. He was a gray tabby with yellow-green eyes. “A kit...hmm? Interesting...I was hoping to find a warrior or one of those apprentices, but a kit is better.” The rogue grinned, his fangs glaring at her. Silkkit screamed and scampered away, but the rogue pinned her tail down with a paw. “Oh, no. Little kit, you’re not going anywhere.” With that, he lunged for her neck, fangs sinking into it. Silkkit struggled, still screaming. Hot, warm blood poured down her neck. Agony burst out from her as the rogue dropped her. Smirking once more, he ran away, leaving her to bleed to death. Blurry eyed, she spotted a cat. “H-help...help me, please...” Silkkit croaked, a pool of blood making her fur red. She couldn’t bear it anymore. She wanted to sleep. I’m sorry... Silkkit thought, before closing her eyes forever...
“What...Where am I?” Silkkit whispered to herself. She looked down from her body, realizing that she now was a spirit. A lump rose in her throat as she thought about her family. Glancing at her now still form once more, Silkkit turned away, joining the ranks of StarClan...
