Hey FoTW! It’s time to finally roll out the little contest we promised, as revealed in Spring Cleaning [4/26/2020].

What’s this contest about?
Here on FoTW, we want to showcase all of our wonderful users + their unique characters, and what better way to show some appreciation to everyone than a fun, friendly little competition? ~~plus, who doesn’t want to earn a little extra CC every now and then?~~

This competition will give everyone a chance to showcase a specific roleplay post [whether it’s a sweet moment between lovers, an intense battle, or the culmination of a carefully crafted plot] they’re particularly proud of; it doesn’t matter how big or small the post is, as long as you’re proud of it, we’re excited to read it!
So, how does this contest work?
It’s quite simple, really!

On a monthly basis [usually about a week out from the end of the month], Staff will post a topic similar to this. You’ll be given a week to select ONE post that was made during the month [meaning that during our May contest, you can only select a post that was made during May] and then fill out the form provided below + post it in this topic.

After we close this topic and round up all of our applicants, Staff will provide a topic that allows our userbase to vote on the top three posts of the month.
Are there any specific rules?
Yes, but only a few:
- As mentioned above, you can only select a post that was made during the month that the contest applies to. [ex. I can’t recommend a post from September during a December contest]
- Do not campaign for votes. If Staff finds out that you’re asking people to specifically vote for you during a round of the contest, you will be removed.
- Anybody can [and should] enter, as long as they're an active roleplayer on the site. It doesn't matter whether or not you just joined, or joined whenever the site was first made- give it a go, let us get to know your characters.
- You can only vote once, so make sure to read through everything before making your decision!
- Remember that, while this is a contest, this is all done in good fun. Winning doesn't automatically make you a better roleplayer than anyone else, just as losing doesn't automatically devalue your roleplaying in any regard. This just a friendly way to tell someone they wrote a good post, and there's always next month!
What are the rewards?
* First place will be given 150 CC.
** Second place will be given 100 CC.
*** Third place will be given 50 CC.

A Brief Synopsis of What's Currently Happening in this Topic: this little girl, Molly, and her mom buy hotdogs from a food cart. Molly sits on the bench to eat while her mom goes to the restroom, Light watches her, comes over and begs for food, giving kitty eyes. Molly instantly caves, gives the starving kitty food, before being yelled at by her mother. Light runs off, wary of the mother, while Molly begrudgingly leaves with her mom. Light angrily mumbles about housefolk, then wanders about and bumps into another cat.
