| Another cat that was not her littermate or even sibling at all was about to experience the wonder that was meeting with StarClan. Flashpaw loved this aspect of being a medicine cat, leading her Clanmates away from the Clans' territories to Mothermouth and seeing how different they ended up after their experience.
The she-cat made her way over to the apprentice in question, and dropped the traveling herbs at Morningpaw's feet. "Ready to go?" She asked, with a kind blink. |

| Morningpaw nodded to the medicine cat, shoveling down the herbs quickly. "Ready." He was finally one step away from becoming a warrior. It had been too long of a wait. |

| Flashpaw purred, and when he had finished the herbs, led the way out of camp. The journey became more familiar each time she made it, but of course Morningpaw would not know the way. She led the way, and they arrived at Mothermouth right on time, quickly making their way down the tunnels until the moonstone was before them.
"It's time, Morningpaw," she nodded for him to press his nose against the glowing stone. |

| The journey was far, but thanks to the herbs the medicine cat apprentice had given him, it seemed like a short walk. He followed along closely, his fur itching as they passed the Thunderpath and other clan territories, but he knew soon enough they would be in the safety of the Highstones.
They slipped through the caves with ease, wasting no time to get to the glowing stone. He didn't take any time admiring the stone, nodding instead to Flashpaw and settling down in front of the stone. He pressed his nose to the cold stone, his eyes slowly drooping as sleep began to take him over.
After a few moments of pure darkness, his eyes opened to the scene of his camp, albeit empty. He glanced around, looking for the sign of any life.
Just as he began padding up to the leader's den in curiosity, the sound of paws against the soft ground filled his ears. Was it coming from the leader's den? |

| Making his way over to Morningpaw, one of ThunderClan's many apprentices, a black and white tom approached, and it was none other than ThunderStar himself. He wished that he didn't have to be in StarClan to begin with, but fate had other ideas for him, and at least he was able to guide the clan's future generations.
Giving a dip of his head to the russet pelted tom, a soft smile was held on his muzzle. "I am Thunderstar, the previous leader and founder of ThunderClan. I presume you are here for your moonstone journey?" he mewed. |

| Thunderstar? Did he mean... the Thunderstar?
Part of him was starstruck. Was this really the leader who invented the clan he grew up in? He cleared his throat, puffing out his white chest in pride. "I am." He wouldn't bow down now just because of some legend stood in front of him. Besides, StarClan was filled with mouse-brains.
"I'm here to learn something, correct?" |

| Morningpaw certainly wasn't one to waste time, but of course, he could only understand why.
Giving the apprentice a nod and meeting his olive gaze, he took a moment before speaking. "You are correct," he began before continuing. "I'm assuming you know what it means to be a warrior, correct?" |

| What it means to be a warrior? "Simple, protect your clan, hunt, train apprentices. What else?" He was put off by the question. He thought he was supposed to learn something about his future, not receive a lesson similar to those Lightningstar would give him. |

| Listening to Morningpaw, Thunderstar let out a soft chuckle. "Well, you've almost got it," he purred. "To be a warrior is to uphold the warrior code, even at the cost of your life, and yes, to protect your clan and train apprentices," Thunderstar mewed, before continuing once more. "Morningpaw, you have spirit, that is for sure. Stay loyal to your clan and true to yourself, and you'll make a fine warrior," he spoke with a firm nod. Having said what he came here to say, ThunderStar took a few steps away from the apprentice. "May StarClan light your path," the leader mewed before fading away, leaving only stardust as proof of his arrival. |
