Stormkit’s Apprentice Ceremony

Wolfstorm had just finished Mothkit’s ceremony not too long ago when he spotted two kits. They were the same age, about 6 moons, he realized. They both seemed ready. The doe it’s decided to hold the ceremonies for the two of them before the sunset. ”Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather below the Willow Branch for a clan meeting.” he called out as he Leto onto the Branch he spoke of, watching the gathering crowd.

Stormkit padded out from the nursery, her chest puffed out with pride. She was becoming an apprentice! The she-kit couldn't wait to rub it into every cat's face, to show how worthy she was. Even Brightkit, although her ceremony was sure to follow right after. For a few moments, she could show her sister how strong she really was.

Wolfstorm spotted Stormkit with a smile. Analyzing her for a moment, he decided that he would have Lichenstar mentor one siblings and himself mentor the other. Lichenstar would have there apprentices, but she was capable. And Bluepaw would hopefully become a warrior sometime soon, so it would even out in the end. ”Stormkit, step forward. You have reached the age of 6 moons and are ready to be apprenticed. From this day until you earn your warrior name you will be known as Stormpaw. Your mentor will be Lichenstar. I hope she will pass on all of her knowledge to you.” he felt a little bad assigning the leader another apprentice so soon, but he felt in would be right for the two of them.

Another ceremony was taking place not too long after Mothpaw's and it thrilled Whitepaw. RiverClan was gaining apprentice after apprentice. Honestly, he was hoping this trend continued for the foreseeable future. It reflected how prosperous the clan was. Whitepaw couldn't remember the last time he wasn't this happy. He enjoyed watching ceremonies as they inspired him to work hard and become somebody whose name would be called to help train those who'd become the clan's future.

"Congrats Stormpaw! Maybe we could hang out eventually. Only if you're available of course. Don't wanna distract you from your tasks...Good luck on your training! You'll do well i'm sure." said the light-furred apprentice as he grinned at the newly-apprenticed Stormpaw. He turned to respectfully dip his head at Lichenstar before padding away, brown eyes full of mirth.
