Kit attack [open]

A little black kit sat in front of the nursery, wondering what to do. She felt like she was dying of boredom, the day was too calm, and also pretty hot. Tinykit noticed a small stick on the ground and got an idea. She imagined the stick as a mouse she was going to hunt. The kitten took a playful position, waved the tip of her tail and stared at the stick, ready to attack. The prey would soon be doomed! Unless someone would interrupt her play.

Stormpaw had just finished a hunting session, which was quite exhausting on such a hot day. As he walked towards the apprentice's den to take a rest, he barely noticed that he had stepped on the stick a small kit was playing with.

"Here I come..!" Tinykit had jumped meaning to attack the stick, but suddenly found herself trying to sink her small teeth into the ankle of an apprentice. Tinykit looked up, blushed, and let go immediately. She was so embarrassed. "Oh no, sorry, I was playing! I was attacking this stick because I want to learn hunting!" She could barely look him in the eye.

Stormpaw was unprepared when something "attacked" his ankle. "Ouch! What's going on...Oh." So it was just a young kit playing. "That's okay, little one." To be honest, Stormpaw had never seen himself as kit-loving before, but now he had found it hard to get angry at this little kit.

Tinykit was relieved that the apprentice did not seem angry. The kit took a good look at him, noticing he looked quite big and strong. "Do you know how to hunt? Is it hard? I really want to be good at hunting one day!" She got excited. Pulling herself upright, she squared her shoulders, trying to show determination and appear bigger. ..But she was still very small.

Mosspaw was enjoying the warmth of the day stretched out in a sunbeam. She was just starting to doze when she heard Stormpaws mew. She was happy to see a kit so eager to learn, and she was tempted to show off all the new things she had learned as well. She padded up to the kit and tom
"Hunting is great! You just have to listen to your instincts and your mentor and you'll be wonderful in no time." She mewed. "Do you know the hunters crouch yet?"

"Of course I know how to hunt!" Stormpaw mewed proudly. Well, he failed his first hunt, to be honest. But he believed he had now become a seasoned hunter, and probably competent enough to give a mew of advice or two. But before he could think up anything more, another apprentice joined their conversation.
