There was a combination of nerves and excitement in the molly's olive gaze as she lapped up the travelling herbs, collecting the other carefully wrapped bundle for the apprentice that would accompany her on this journey. Fortunate for her, it was her own apprentice- Rainpaw! He had certainly grown into a fine tom, and Heronfeather was enthusiastic about the role he would play in the clan as a fully-fledged warrior. But first they had to make the trek over to Highstones. Lucky for the duo WindClan's camp lay the closest; meaning that they would make it there in no time at all. "Alright Rainpaw, it's time! Have these and then let's go!" she chirped to the tom, before making her way out of camp.
"This is Mothermouth, follow close behind me so you don't get lost," she announced upon arrival, hesitating slightly. She knew it was her duty now to do this, but it still rubbed her the wrong way as she began to descend into the shadowy earth, keeping her tail aloft so the apprentice could use it as a marker to follow. Awe sparkled in her chest upon arriving at the Moonstone, watching as its dazzling glow lit up the cavern, feeling like an apprentice herself once more. "When you're ready, press your nose against the stone. I will be here when you wake," Heronfeather mewed, settling away from the stone with her paws tucked under her, patiently waiting.
