The Badger and the Ferret [closed]

His white tail tip swished from side to side as badger enjoyed the sunlight with his sister.

Ferretkit grinned. [color=#ffcc00]“I can’t wait to be an apprentice!”.

“Soon little sis, soon.” he mewed getting to his paws. “Come let’s head back.” he said.

Ferretkit smiled, hooping off of the rock and following Badgerpaw to the camp. “What do you think your warrior name will be? I heard your gonna be a warrior soon.”

"maybe something really cool like Claw or fang." he mewed as they headed back. " what about you?" he asked smiling.

Ferretkit smiled. “Badger claw sounds pretty cool.” she thought about her future name. She hadn’t really considered many options. “Maybe Ferretleap?”

Once they reached camp the sun started to go down. "you tired or still wanna play?" he asked.

Ferretkit entered the camp, trailing behind him. “Can we play more?”

“What do you want to play?” He asked.

Ferretkit thought for a minute. “Do you wanna play warrior and prey?” she asked. Badgerpaw would probably be good at the game, he was already an apprentice.

“Sure.” he mewed. “What role am I?” he asked letting her pick.

Ferretkit smiled. “I’ll be prey!” she ran off, hiding behind a large snowdrift. She started to dig into it, staying in a crouch position, ready to run.

Badgerpaw quietly stalked towards ferretkit.

Ferretkit started to hear Badgerpaw as he drew close. She emerged out of the snowdrift, and started to run, running on the borders of camp. A bramble snagged her fur, and she helped, wriggling to get freed. “Ahhh!” she giggled, as Badgerpaw drew near.

He pounced on her when she got stuck and started licking her all over tickling her.

Ferretkit started laughing. ”Badgerpaw!” she grinned, rolling on the ground. Eventually, she stood up.”You hide now!” she closed her eyes, waiting for him to go and hide so she could find him.

Badgerpaw went off to find a hiding spot. He noticed there was dark areas by the nursery so he used his black pelt and blended in to the shadows.

Ferretkit started to look around camp. Soon, she saw his dark pelt, heavily camouflaged by the shadows. She started running towards him, her paws making loud imprints on the snow. If she was hunting for real, the prey would have ran off easily by now.

Badgerpaw could easily hear his sister but he stayed still so she felt like she was doing good.

Ferretkit grinned, getting closer to Badgerpaw. As she reached him, she leapt onto this pelt, barely gripping onto him, her legs flailing around.

Badgerpaw fell over pretending to be hurt.

Ferretkit giggled. “Haha! I got you!” She jumped off of him, landing onto a soft patch of snow.

“Now it’s time to sleep, it’s been a long day for you.” he mewed looking up at the starry sky.

Ferretkit sighed. ”Ok...goodnight Badgerpaw.” She licked him goodnight and headed back into the nursery, laying down by Sageleaf, and quickly falling asleep.
