Oddly Scorched and Scarred

The prey was left behind, but he didn't care. Scorchpaw pushed through the camp entrance and nearly dropped Oddpaw's unconscious and bleeding body onto the ground. He lifted his heavy head up with eyes stinging from tears, "Someone, please, help... There was a badger..." he whimpered out into the camp, hoping someone could hear his choked voice.

Blackpaw came running out of the medicine den when he heard a cry for help. He noticed two other apprentices that the black one was really wounded. “T-take H-her t-to m-my d-den.” he said while going to get the herbs ready.

Scorchpaw let out a sigh of relief as the medicine cat apprentice came over. "Okay..." he breathed, picking up Oddpaw again before he hastily moved towards the medicine cat den. His ears went back as he pushed through the den's entrance and tried to find a nest to lay Oddpaw down in. He set her down in a mossy nearby nest and backed up to try and give Blackpaw space.

“So what is the matter with her?” Blackpaw asked without stuttering as he was near his herbs and in a place he felt secure.

Scorchpaw took a deep breath as he tried to speak clearly. "We were out hunting and a badger came and attacked her..." he quickly explained, trying not dwell on that memory for too long because doing so would probably break him.

(Any serious wounds or just bleeding/scratches/bites?)

Blackpaw sniffed oddpaw for any Injuries that he couldn’t see.

Scorchpaw paused, recollecting his thoughts, before continuing. "It tackled her and one of it's claws got her really badly," he said before taking additional deep breaths. "She bled out, and then I brought her back here. She hasn't woken up since the badger got her..." he added, doing his best to not waver in his voice.

Blackpaw nodded and went to grab the herbs. First he grabbed the chervil, Dock leaf, and comfrey root. He brought the herbs back to the cats before then grabbing some cobwebs. He then started to lick the fur as to make sure where the wounds were and to also clean any access blood away. Blackpaw chewed the chervil until he got enough juices they gently put the juice on each wound. Blackpaw grabbed the dock leaf and chewed it into a pulp before applying it also to the wounds. And lastly to make sure the wounds didn’t hurt he chewed some comfrey root and put the poultice on the wounds then wrapped in cobwebs.
