Three little Thunderclanners // Hunting topic

Cinderpaw was walking in the forest next to his littermates. Badgerpaw became Badgerstorm in only a few moons while Cinderpaw was still waiting for his final hunting lesson. Ferretkit only became Ferretpaw a few moons ago so she could do with the experience. "Badgerstorm? Where do we go?" He asked, stopping in a clearing. He watched as a flock of birds flew overhead, a few of them looked like they were going to land. "Hey! Let's go over there! Badgerstorm, do you know what birds they are?" He asked, his tufted ears pointed in the direction of the prey.

BadgerStorm knew his brother and him didn’t get along so he opted to go on this patrol with him. He tried to look at the birds that flew by but couldn’t tell from so far. “i can’t see what kind they are, sorry.” he said before looking around. “Yup, this is a great spot to hunt.” he mewed.

Ferretpaw smiled, walking around with her older brothers. ”Cool! This’ll be fun!” she smiled. Suddenly, she saw the tail of a mouse twitch. Stalking it carefully, she finally leapt onto it, trying to catch it. After she caught it, she grinned, waiting to watch her brothers hunt. ”Cinderpaw, I bet you’ll be a warrior soon.” she told her brother. She knew he was probably anxious to be a warrior. She had only been an apprentice for a little while, so she didn’t really feel that yet.

"Uh, yeah... Nice catch Ferretpaw." He headed the direction of the birds before pausing. "So I just.." He crouched down aiming at an unusually large bird that had stopped to catch a worm. "Here goes... Everything!" With unsteady paws he leaped forwards. The fat bird saw him and attempted to fly away but Cinderpaw was just a little faster. The bird flapped frantically as he pinned the prey and slit its throat with one claw carefully, killing it. He sniffed it, unsure if it was dead, all he could smell was tasty bird so he shrugged and dragged it along with him with his jaws. "Hrey! Grwuys rook! Rit's mry furrst prwey!" He dropped it, spitting out a feather. "My first prey was a fat bird." He touched it gently with his paw. "It was close though, it saw me and almost flew away."
Cinderpaw attempted to catch a bird! Success! It almost flew away though, close call!

BadgerStorm nodded in approval before catching the scent of a mouse. He silently followed the scent until he caught sight of the small creature. BadgerStorm got into the hunting crouch and and then when the right moment came he pounced. He killed it in one bite and padded back to the others.

BadgerStorm attempted to catch a mouse. It was a success! It was a close call though!

Ferretpaw smiled as both of her brother’s made their catches. She saw a small robin flutter by and tried to catch it. She watched it’s red breath and stalked it, then leapt onto the small creature.She caught it, and grinned.

Ferretpaw caught a robin!
