Cinderkit was sleeping peacefully beside his mother. Easily recognisable from his big body and paws. He had a black, grey and white pelt unique to himself and seemed to be the biggest of his littermates, Ashkit coming second, of course. Despite his big body his personality was very different. He has shown to be very sensitive and jumpy. He looked so calm though, in his sleep. Yellow eyes closed and fur relaxed, though messy. He twitched when his mother mentioned her love, his father. He opened his blue eyes that had a yellowish shine to it, any cat could tell his eyes would be a bright yellow, but kitten eyes are blue, Cinderkit was no exception to the rule. "Daddy?" He squeaked, looking at the nursery exit with excited eyes. The noise that came out of his little mouth could be hardly distinguished but even Cinderkit knew that his mother would understand the words that tumbled out of his mouth like tiny stones pushed by water.

Visitors were not a common occurrence, as their mother was cautious with them, and so Flashkit was immediately on her paws when she realized what was about to happen. Not only was it their father, but he was the leader of the Clan! The tortoiseshell was so proud of him, and she didn't really even know him. But maybe that would change today! She bounced closer to the entrance to the nursery.

"Dada!" She squealed, unable to contain her excitement.

Having been sitting outside of the nursery with his eyes closed and practically fallen asleep, the sound of his mate's voice sent the tom's ears to perk straight up. It had been a few sunrises since Sageleaf kitted and the leader had made sure to visit the Queen and his newest litter of kin, but with them being so young, they hadn't remembered him entering the den previously at all. But today was different. Earlier that sunrise, the kits eyes had opened and they were beginning to learn to mew. Teaching kits the ways of a cat was a long, grueling process, not that he really knew much on the matter, but he was sure glad that he wasn't a she-cat.

Ducking into the dimly lit den, Lightningstar sat down, his large form blocking any-cat from entering or exiting. Turning his gaze down, he watched as his kits squirmed and waddled about. Cinderkit and Flashkit were quite excited about his appearance, and it made him proud to see them developing so quickly.

"Hello, my little warriors," the fluffy, grey and silver tabby mewed softly, his usually commanding voice being nothing about a gentle meow and a soft smile on his muzzle. It was a rare sight, seeing the leader with a genuine smile, but nothing brought him more joy than seeing his family and clan grow and thrive.

Badgerkit stood on his paws after he heard the word outside. The little black and white Tom wanted to know what ‘outside’ was. He started to slowly walk towards his father.

"Yes, I think today is a good day," Lightningstar purred in reply. While caring and nurturing kits was ultimately a queen's job, the leader knew that raising such spunky bundles of fuzz and personality was a exhausting task, to say the least, and he was happy to take them off her paws for at least a short while. Hopefully, that way, she might get some peace and quiet, and maybe even some rest while he showed his litter around the clearing.

"Follow me, little ones," the large, fluffy tom mewed as he stood up. Turning around and making sure not to hit any part of the den with his broad form, the leader made his way out of the nursery with his kits trailing behind. "This, is ThunderClan's camp."

Badgerkit looked in awe at the big camp. “You are in charge of this all!?” he asked shocked.
