A fluttering Dove

Dovekit was sitting outside the nursery watching the older cats go about their jobs. She wished she was old enough to be an apprentice but as she was quiet not many cats paid much attention to her. The only ones who treated her like she was amazing was her parents. The fluffy she-kit looked around before noticing a warrior come towards her. She shyly smiled at the older cat wondering why they were there.

"What are you up to little one?" Dashfoot had noticed the kit simply sitting just outside the nursery. Unlike the usual tumble and notes of boundless energy, this kit seemed content to watch. As she approched, there were hints of a reserved smile across the maw, something the young warrior noted quickly. Her large paws flexed into the dirt as she looked down at the new companion, "Are you looking for something to do? Because I'm certain I could find something." There was a break in patrol, some down time, and playing with a kit was an enticing ordeal. Dashfoot's stomach growled softly to reminder her of the growing leaf bare hunger. Perhaps she would grab some prey along the way too.

Dovekit smiled at the warrior with a small nod. "I am what others would call quiet" she mewed in a whisper. She didn't have any friends so didn't know what she was supposed to do with other cats. She was always alone, never with someone, so her knowledge on socializing wasn't much. "You look hungry." she quietly mewed after hearing the warrior's stomach.
