One Last Time [closed]

Violetpaw laid her head down to rest a moment. The poultice meant to combat bleeding and infection had already started working, and she felt much better. She let out a relieved sigh. This injury wouldn't cost her any precious time as a Warrior. She'd be ready to be a warrior at the same time as Wolfpaw still, which was a wonderful thing.

Softpaw nodded, Alright, sit down. I've still got some horsetail and marigold left over. Stay still, it may sting at first, but I promise, it'll make it feel much better." Softpaw mewed, examining the wound on his leg. It wasn't that bad, and she could treat it fairly easily. She applied the horsetail and marigold poultice onto his leg wound after gently licking it clean.

Softpaw used Minor Heal on Wolfpaw, healing 7 ( 1 + 6 ) damage!

Wolfpaw winced as she started to tend to his wound, but after, it did feel a lot better. He felt more at ease as he watched Violetpaw resting. He looked to Softpaw. ”Thank you.” he said sincerely. The medicine cat apprentice had healed two random cats she had found. It was something that he had never occurred that would happen. He would never be able to thank her enough. She had probably saved Violetpaw’s life, and helped Wolfpaw a lot too.

Violetpaw raised her head, struggling to her paws. Her injury hurt much less, and was nowhere as deep as her first injury, as thus she was able to get to her paws and breath much easier. "Yes... Thanks.. Softpaw, you said? Mom... Mom mentioned you. You'll be looking after Wild..Wildflower, right..?" Violetpaw mewed, taking a couple deep breaths every now and then, stumbling over to Wolfpaw. She was surprised when Softpaw moved to flank her, steadying her so she could walk better.

"Yes, that's right. With Wildflower sick, Lichenstar and Brindlestar decided it best if I help her out. Especially as little Cottonkit seems to be taking an interest in healing. I was actually on my way to RiverClan camp to check on Wildflower. I'll escort you back. You take the fish and we can drape the owl over our shoulders? It'll make for a slow walk, but better than taking two trips." Softpaw mewed. She picked up the fish and dropped each at the feet of the RiverClan cats. She crouched by the owl, and with the help of Violetpaw and Wolfpaw, lifted it onto her back. The wings hung over either side of her flank, where Violetpaw and Wolfpaw would tote some of the weight. And so, herbs, prey, and a feathery foe in tow, they headed back to the RiverClan camp.

Wolfpaw stood up,picking up a fish in his mouth. They stumbled back to camp, accompanied by Softpaw. He watched Violetpaw, hoping that she would be alright. But with Softpaw's care, he thought that they would be alright. When they reached camp,Wolfpaw looked at Softpaw again."Thank you again, Softpaw." He said gratefully. He looked down at his leg wound. It already seemed better. And Violetpaw looked a lot better too.
