StarClan Reaches Down and Strangles A Bastard

Carrionplace was a last-ditch effort to feed a starving clan. Normally, waiting until what little prey was left in the fresh-kill pile was picked clean and then stubbornly pretending you were fine until some cat dropped dead of starvation was the ideal situation before even considering setting foot in a disease ridden mush pile. Which is why Firestar wasn't even considering setting a single paw anywhere near Carrionplace, she herself would rather give up her corpse to feed her clan than to be here.

But there was no way she was letting such a plump looking rabbit get away from her. Had she been thinking about it, this rabbit looked nothing like she had seen before; floppy ears that it tripped over even while hopping normally and a ridiculous amount of fur that was too shiny to be that of a starving wild animal... This rabbit had been taken rather good care of, like a kittypet. Perhaps it was because there was no way this animal had been outside by itself since it was born, but it was rather jumpy... Easy prey-- Until something she hadn't caught scent of jumped her, hissing in both ears and wrapping dangerously around her neck.

She howled and kicked and twisted but it just made it worse. Eventually, it wrapped so tight she could no longer breath. Her struggles died out and she collapsed within the rustling beast, a process that repeated itself almost endlessly until her final life gives out.
