Eating prey and sharing tongues (open)

The sun set, as Grasssnake padded out of the warriors den. He had just had a nice nap and was ready to do some warrior duties. The brown tabby tom went over to the fresh kill pile. He sat down near it, shaking off any mud on his fur before grabbing a frog.

The tom laid down and took a bite out of his frog, before looking out across camp. Warriors and apprentices and walked around the camp. Grasssnake landed his eyes on a cat and waved them over with his tail. "Hey! Wanna eat prey with me?" Called Grasssnake, hoping to interact with someone.

Hawktalon's ear twitched as he heard the mew of a warrior. It took him a moment to identify it as Grasssnake, and he padded over, nodding to the warrior as he sat down. "Sure." He leaned over to the fresh-kill pile and gripped a large lizard with his teeth, ripping into the small creature and sighing in delight. The day had been normal, but normal was tiring, as was the life of a warrior. "How are you? Any luck hunting?" He certainly hadn't had karma on his side, somehow missing a nest full of mice on a solo hunt and missing an easy frog with a patrol. Still, he'd managed to find prey... even if it was just a tiny vole.

Grasssnake nodded in hello to Hawktalon. "I'm doing good. I caught a few birds this morning." Said Grassnake. "How bout you?" Grasssnake took another bite of his frog.

A black warrior with white paws passed by as the two toms chatted. She had just finished her meal, but it would still be great to sit down and relax a little bit more. "Mind if I join your chat?" She padded over with a friendly smile.
