We could be immortals (closed)

It was a rather nice day, the sun shining down, bringing rays of light everywhere. Other clans would probably complain about how hot it was (cowards) to Grasssnake it was fine. Sure he had a dark pelt that absorbed tons of sunlight, making him hot but that was easily fixed by the marshes in Shadowclan territory.

The brown tabby tom peeked his head out of camp. He drew his head back in and looked around camp. His eyes landed on Foxfang. "Hey Foxfang! Come hunting with me!" Called Grasssnake towards the ginger she-cat.

Foxfang lifted her head from small frog she was munching on, spotting the familiar pelt of one of ShadowClan's newest warriors as he called out to her. Hunting? Well, she was supposed to be taking on the day patrol regardless, she might as well do some hunting while she was at it. "Shure," she spoke with a mouthful of frog. Swallowing the rather big bite she took, she wiped a paw over her mouth before grabbing the leftovers and bringing it to the entrance of the elder's den. Someone was bound to be awake and hungry for a snack.

"Alright! Let's get going, shall we?" the russet bengal purred as she trotted up to the tom, a smile gracing her face.

Grasssnake smiled at the she-cat before padding out of camp. "So Foxfang. Hows life treating ya?" Said Grasssnake hoping to start up a conversation.

Padding up close to the tom, she made herself comfortable following his pace. "Oh, well, you know, it is what it is. Rogues, new leadership, all that jazz." She glanced around at the changing scenery, keeping her ears and eyes peeled for any sign of prey.

"It could be worse. At least I've got friends like you here," Foxfang meowed, looking over at the tom with a wide grin.

"Yea everything's always better if you have friends." Grasssnake agreed.

She smiled in response, trotting ahead of the tom, her eyes set on a tall dead tree that stood out against the marshy backdrop. With a swift leap, she jumped onto the lowest branch. Perching herself carefully, she looked around, admiring the territory for a moment. "How about you, Grasssnake? You just became a warrior recently, how's it been for you?"

"Eh all right. At least I don't have to worry about waking my mentor up if I ever got up at sunhigh." Grasssnake chuckled."Plus no elder duties."
