The abnormally large for his age tabby tom worked his claws impatiently into the ground beneath him, claws churning up dirt as he searched for worms. Recent rains had turned the camp into a breeding ground for humidity induced angst for the young tom, and he looked for the wriggly creatures he often saw making their way across the outskirts of camp when weather similar to this came about. Satisfaction bloomed in his chest as his claws caught hold of something, and he pulled it out of the ground, learning unfortunately too late that it was not a worm - in fact it was a spider. Unknown to him, they shared a name as it was a wolf spider, and he watched in curiosity as the spider scuttled away from his large paws, seeking safety in a nearby pile of leaves. Wolfkit's eyes widened in excitement and his haunches wiggled from side-to-side as he prepared to launch onto the pile and scare it out, and he leapt, paws sliding on the wet leaves. "For StarClan's sake!" he hissed in annoyance as he tumbled into the ground, refusing to get back up. He knew someone would've seen his error, and felt anger and sadness rise in his chest at his own idiotic move. Turning with his back to the clan, he rested his head on his large paws, tail flicking behind him, wrought with agitation.

FlashPaw has been out hunting for his clan and came back with a rat in his jaws when he saw Wolfspider’s ungraceful leap and let out a purr of amusement.. rare for the broody apprentice. He set the rat down and padded up to the warrior, “.. what a graceful move by a shadowclan warrior ..” he teased only a slight menacing edge to his voice, he was trying to at least make some .. friends in this clan of his .
