A not so nice Blaze (Closed)

As the morning sun shone through the nursery, a little white calico kit was starting to wake. Now this kit was named Blazekit and he didnt really trust anyone besides his parents. He heard many stories of cats betraying each other and he never wanted to be the one who was betrayed. As the small kit groomed his fur he looked around noticing all the other kits were still asleep. Lots of cats called Blaze "The mute" as he only ever talked to his parents.

Once Blazekit was done grooming he padded towards the nursery entrance and just sat there. To some it would look like he was bored but in truth he was making sure no one came near him. He hated cats being close to him and even so hated talking to those cats. As he sat there, he glared at any cat who came to close not caring what they thought of him.

Featherkit was bored.  She figured it came with being the only kit in her litter.  She looked around to see if there were any potential playmates.  She noticed her denmate Blazekit sitting by himself staring out into the camp.  He looked like a good option to play with.  

Featherkit padded up to him.  "Hi, there!"

Letting out a yawn and stretching out his front paws, Lightningstar glanced around camp. Waking up and leaving the comfort of the dens, his clanmates began to mill about, per usual. For the most part, those pesky rogues had seemed to disappear and life went back to normal.

Picking up a squirrel from the freshkill pile, he decided to go check on the queens first and the large leader made his way over to the nursery. Upon arrive, a couple of kits sat near the nursery entrance, chatting among themselves. Lightningstar himself wasn't very keen on conversation, but he didn't want to just push past the kits and get his ear bit off by one of the queens, and besides; all kits needed to be socialized and the younger the age the better.

Dropping the squirrel at the entrance to the den, he gave his pelt a shake. "'Morning," the built, fluffy leader mewed, his usual cold gaze meeting that of the small tom-kit's.

Blazekit was glaring at the cats walking by when a very excited she-kit came by. He just glared at the kit not saying anything as the leader padded up to them. Now getting rid of a kit was easy, if you didnt play they would leave, but an adult would keep asking what was wrong. When the leader glared back at blazekit, the young tom was indeed very shocked.

The leader was the first cat to have ever glared back at him and being the stubborn self he was he kept glaring not letting the leader win. The she-kit was still there watching the boys glare at each other but blaze didnt notice. He knew he would lose to the leader but he wouldnt show it.

Featherkit bounded up to him, then mewed with amusement as she realized that he was having a glaring contest with Lighningstar.  She realized that there was very little chance that the kit would win against the Clan leader, so she wanted to save him the embarrassment.  She pelted toward him at full speed, leaping and bowling him over.

"I win!" she squealed, letting out a shrill victory mew.

Both toms kept their eyes locked onto each other, neither of them wavering. At first, Lightningstar didn't think much of it, but at time went on, it was obvious that there were now in a serious grudge-match. Luckily for them, Featherkit knew better than to let their antics continue on any longer, and the she-kit soon intervened.

Giving his fluffy head a shake and blinking a couple of times at he was released from the daze he'd been in, Lightningstar's gaze was unmoving as he sat where he was.

Watching as the kits stumbled around his paws, he let out a huff, his tail flicking back and forth. "Eat up before your mothers get back and say you can't have anymore," Lightningstar mewed stoically, pushing the squirrel forward with one of his large, white paws.

Blazekit sniffed the squirrel not trusting it but when he saw featherkit eat, he decided to also. Blazekit took a small bite and looked at the bigger cat in surprised. "This is sooo good!" He mewed loudly without even noticing he spoke. He took another bit and mewed in content.
