A Birch, a Duck, and a Flower (closed)

As the sun rose and activity started around camp, Birchkit awoke from his nightly sleep wondering what he was going to do.Right away, Birchkit saw his brother, duckkit, waking up also. The little kit decided it would be fun to sneak up on his brother but forgot that he was clumsy. As birchkit padded forwards he tripped over a piece of moss and fell on top of duckkit. "Oops, sorry, but that moss shouldnt have been in my way!" He mewed thinking a great guy like him wouldnt just trip over moss.

Duckkit stirred to the sounds of activity starting up around the camp. The sounds of warriors chatting and heading out on patrol muffled from the safety of the nursery. He let out a shrill squeak of alarm as his brother tumbled on top of him. He flailed his paws in a vague attempt at escape before quickly giving up. He lay flat, just craning his neck to look back at Birchkit. "Uh, tha's okay. Morning Birchkit."

Flowerpaw was sitting outside, grooming her luxurious coat. She looked over to the nursery at hearing a commotion and decided to check on the kits since their mother was already gone. "What are you two doing in here? Your mother isn't going to be very pleased to see you both covered in moss," she chuckled as she gazed at the kits.

birchkit smiled up at the older she-cat. "We didn't mean to, the moss was in our way!" He mewed with a slight baby glare towards the green plants. If it wasn't for the moss, he could have snuck up on his brother instead he fell on him. Birchkit looked back at duckkit and couldn't help but laugh as the she-cat was right, there was moss all over them.

Duckkit huffed quietly, still not moving from where his brother had squashed him to the ground, "M'm, sorry," he mumbled, though it was unclear who it would have been actually directed at if anyone. If his ears didn't already stick out sideways they would have flattened. His tail tip flicked vaguely, a small piece of moss tumbled loose.
