We're gonna take a walk outside today, Gonna see what we can find today

A silent figure crept through brush, listening to make sure that the forest was silent. Satisfied, the creature stepped forward to the small stream and lowered its head to drink from the cool water. The long whiskers of the animal barely danced over the surface as he quenched his thirst. His world was suddenly shattered as a monster burst from the underbrush and sank its fangs into his neck. The young rabbit's life ended quickly, sniffed out by a creamy yellow feline with golden eyes. The cat stood and caught his breath, pleased that he'd been able to sneak up on the skittish prey.

Having been conducting a hunting patrol, the sight of Sandbreeze catching prey nearbye caught Lightningstar's attention. He was proud of his clan's success in such harsh times, with Leaf-bare having engulfed the entire forest. With the amount of prey that every-cat was catching, they would surely evade Leaf-bare's harsh grasp. "ThunderClan is blessed to have a territory so bountiful with prey," the strong voice leader called to his warrior.

Sandbreeze looked up to see the familiar face of the clan leader. "Yes, we are," he acknowledged with a respectful dip of his head. Sandbreeze had often wondered what it was like to lead the clan. His mother had seemed to think he was suited for it. "I was getting a bit bored in camp, so I thought I'd try hunting. The last thing we need during this season is for cats to grow weak because they can't fill their bellies. What brings you out here, Lightningstar?"

Listening as the younger tom spoke, Lightningstar nodded in agreement. "The same as you," the husky voiced leader replied simply. "Hopefully I can get some hunting in before the sun sets," Lightningstar added and proceeded to open his maw in order to hopefully scent out some nearby prey.
