| Badgerpaw woke up to the sunlight streaming through the apprentice den. He slowly opened his eyes to see Oakpaw curled up next to him. He gently licked her head trying to wake her up. “Come on beautiful it’s time to wake up.” he mewed into her ear.

| Oakpaw yawned. "Ok mom." She said teasingly. She got up and padded towards the entrance. "Come on!" Said Oakpaw. |

| Oakpaw followed Badgerpaw as they headed out of camp. It was a beautful sight to see. Oakpaw turned her gaze to look lovingly at Badgerpaw. |

| Borage supplies were, somehow, replenishing in this frigid weather. The purple flowers danced as a small gust passed through the forest floor. The dark green leaves swayed to and fro as Logleap approached. He would need these leaves soon enough - for the oncoming newleaf brought many queens and every season had its fair share of fevers.
He moved to nip the leaf off the stem, but froze as the sound of pawsteps jarred his peaceful surroundings. His jaw snapped shut and he rushed to dive for cover, but the clearing only held a few leafless bushes that would do little to shelter him. In his haste to close his mouth, he had bitten his own tongue, which now throbbed angrily. Logleap glanced about him with wide eyes, finally seeing Oakpaw and Badgerpaw as they approached.
By the looks they were giving each other, he would probably need more borage come their warrior times. Logleap shook his head in dismay at the strange thought. Tongue sore and heart pounding, the medicine cat took an uneasy step back. "Erm, uhh.. borage?" the tom squeaked. |

| Badgerpaw looked up to the sound of logleap. “Oh hey logleap, did you need help collecting borage?” Badgerpaw asked confused on why the medicine cat Tom said borage out of nowhere.

| Oakpaw looked back to see Logleap. "Oh hello." Said Oakpaw, confused to why Logleap said borage. Did he need more borage. Were more kits going to be born soon? Why did Logleap say that? Was he okay?
OOC: Yay a thrid weeler :3 |

| Logleap took another shaky step backwards. Perhaps if he closed his eyes and crouched a bit lower - maybe he would become near invisible to the apprentices. They would just keep walking without ever noticing the tom quivering by the bush. But no - he had to open his mouth and murmur some word - within heartbeats he had captured the attention of the two apprentices. They gazed at him in confusion, a glance that Logleap was all too familiar with, but the medicine cat could offer no words for several more seconds. His thoughts dried up in his mouth before he could speak them.
His tail raised and lowered in greeting - flopping like a dead fish to his side. "Oh, um," the medicine cat blinked at the apprentices. Help was always welcome. It wasn't like he could turn them away anyways. Or could he? Stars, apprentices were so confusing.
"Help if you want, or leave if you need." the tom meowed. He glanced between the tom and she-cat as he awaited an answer. |

| Badgerpaw looked at Oakpaw. “Do you want to help him? Or we could continue on our walk.” He said not knowing what he thought they should do. |

| Oakpaw stared at Badgerpaw's blue eyes before replying. "We should help him! That way he can bring more herbs back." Said Oakpaw. She was willing to help a clanmate out. Plus it would make them more cultured, knowing the names of some herbs.
"Where do ya wanna go?" Asked Oakpaw to Logleap. |

| Perhaps, Logleap thought to himself as Badgerpaw turned to converse with Oakpaw, he could kick a stick to distract the two apprentices and then make his escape from this public interaction. His hind leg twitched in anticipation just at the thought. It was the perfect plan - if only Oakpaw didn't possess such a kind heart in her desire to help him.
Logleap gestured towards the borage plant with a quivering tail. "Just collect the borage leaves for, um," a small cough to clear his throat. "queens and future queens." he finished. Green eyes glanced between the tom and she-cat quickly. How far were they from becoming warriors themselves? His ear twitched.
"How many moons do you have?" the tom asked. His nose wrinkled in annoyance as the question left his maw. It had sounded far better in his head. But, then again, that was often the case with anything Logleap said or did. |

| Badgerpaw looked at his little hint at him and Oakpaw and he blushed. “I have about 1-2 moons I think.” he said remembering how close his mentor said he was to becoming a warrior.

| Oakpaw chirped up. "About 1 moon or 2. Or maybe 3." Said Oakpaw.

| Logleap bobbed his head as the apprentices spoke. They were so very close to becoming apprentices - he couldn't imagine their excitement! When he was an apprentice, he had been switched over to medicine cat apprentice .. and the whole ceremony thing had never been all too alluring to him. But warrior apprentices? It seemed all they looked forward to was their special day through their ceremony.
But that was besides the point. "I guess there will be a moonstone journey close in both of your futures, then?" he inquired. He knew they would say yes - which he most definitely did not want to hear. Two moonstone journeys? That was two too many for his liking.
"Here, nip at the leaf carefully, and we can carry the leaves back to my den." he meowed, suddenly reminded of the task at hand. |

| Oakpaw smiled. "Of course! We need to have a moonstone journey if we wanna be warriors!" Oakpaw perked up. Her gaze turned when she saw the leaf. |

| Badgerpaw helped out. When they finished Oakpaw and Badgerpaw both had mouth full of leaves.
