Fighting for a fish (Solo)

Minnowpaw padded into the flooded banks. Well sort of. A thin sheet of ice were on the water. Snow fluttered to the ground. If a cat was unaware it would most certainly lead to certain death. But there wasn't much snow on the ground and it was snowing very lightly. Minnowpaw knew where all the dangerous places were. Minnowpaw came to one of the iced over waters. She put her paw on top of it and it broke leaving an opening of ice cold water. Minnowpaw crouched down to see a curious fish swim to the surface unaware of Minnowpaw sitting there.

Minnowpaw was unaware of what would come next. What would strike her admist the falling snow. In the winter wonderland where cats figured it was safe. Nobody but the stars knew of what would be coming.

'Predator Dice' :

The fox struck the unaware apprentice. Minnowpaw let out a yelp of surprise. The fox pinned her down as it unsheathed its claws. Minnowpaw let out a gasp as the air was knocked out of her. The fox's claws dug into her stomach. So this is how I die. She thought. Minnowpaw wanted to scream for help but she didn't want anyone else to come to any harm.

In a desprete need to survive Minnowpaw slashed her claws at the fox's face. The fox let out a whimper as it jumped back. Minnowpaw slashed its muzzle. Minnowpaw scrambled to her paws and leapt at the fox. She she slashed the fox's chest. The fox whimpered before it let out a growl. The fox snapped at Minnowpaw until it bit her ear. Shocked Minnowpaw jumped back.

The fox ran forward again. Minnowpaw slashed her claws as she scratched its eye. It whimpered and scurried off. Minnowpaw heaved with exhaustion. The fox was gone. But it would return soon. Minnowpaw ran to camp ingnoring the blood dripping from her ear and chest. When Minnowpaw made it back to camp she heaved. She was back!
