Blooming in Leafbare (open)

Having just been born a few sunrises ago, Valeriankit sat at the edge of the nursery, watching as the clan mulled about. The young tom's fur has already begun to grow fluffy like his father's, which was a blessing during Leafbare's harsh grasp on the forest. The kit didn't know much yet, but as he watched in silence, he took in everything; from the way his clanmates interacted near the Freshkill pile to how Cloudbreeze organized patrols. To him, it was all so interesting and he couldn't wait to learn even more.

Badgerpaw padded into camp with a mouse dangling from his jaws. This was sadly the only prey he could find so he hoped it was good enough. As he headed towards the prey pile he noticed his new little brother was watching the camp. Badgerpaw gently set the mouse down and headed towards him. “Hello valeriankit, how are you today.” he mewed sitting down and wrapping his big fluffy tail, the only thing he got from his father, around his paws.

"I am doing well, how about yourself?" the fluffy, regal apprentice asked, turning to his brother who'd joined him after what looked to be a successful hunt.
