Stormkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Cloudbreeze lept swiftly to her place upon the High Rock, much happier now that the days were growing warmer. "May all cats old enough to catch their own prey meet beneath the High Rock for a clan meeting!"

Stormkit followed his older clanmates to the clearing. While he did not exactly know what this meeting was for, he did have a feeling that he was going to be an apprentice! My sister has already received her apprentice name...it must be my time now! His heart beat so loud with excitement.

Cloudbreeze's gaze fell upon the kit in question. "Stormkit, you have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to be apprenticed. As with all apprentices, until you receive your warrior name you shall be known as Stormpaw. I trust Badgerstorm to be your mentor and to teach you well." She nodded, and dismissed the clan afterwards.

BadgerStorm padded up to his son with a big smile. “Congratulations, stormpaw, I will teach you everything I know.” He mewed touching noses to the recently named Stormpaw.
