Owlkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Cloudbreeze swiftly lept onto the High Rock. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the High Rock for a clan meeting!" She yowled. It had been a bit since the last apprentice ceremony, but now it was time for another.

Owlkit knew she was somewhere around the six-moon mark, and she knew that Cloudbreeze typically ran apprentice ceremonies. Waving her light ringed tail around, the small she-kit stepped forwards, closer to the front of the crowd than usual. She swallowed a few times, pinning her tail down with her paws to stop it from twitching.

"Owlkit, you have reached the age of six moons old and it is time for you to be apprenticed," The deputy began. Her tone was bright and ready. "From this day forward, you shall be known as Owlpaw. I trust Roseeye to be your mentor and teach you well." She dipped her head, motioning to the warrior.
