A little Run (Closed)

Fernpaw stood up and looked around the camp. She stopped pranking but that didn’t mean she stopped hanging out with her friends. She looked around but gave up and decided to yell instead. “Heronpaw, Rime(??), Harekit, Rabbitpaw, and Patch(??)! Get your tails over here now!” she yowled to the camp.

Harekit ran out of the nursery pretty soon after her friend's call, skidding to a halt in front of Fernpaw. She sat down, her tail flicking back and forth excitedly. She sat up straight, trying to look like an apprentice. "Here!"

Rimepaw squinted at Fernpaw, peeking his head around the corner from where he'd been laying in the sun just out of view. "Did you need something?" the young tom meowed with a bit of impatience in his voice, not particularly happy about being interrupted from his nap.

Patchpaw heard Fernpaws call and got up out of the cold leaf-bare sun. He strut over to Fernpaw and flopped at her paws with a soft mrrrw "What did you need Fern?".

Arching her back in a delicate stretch, the she-cat's alabaster paws were the first thing to appear in the weak shining sun of leaf-bare, and she purred briefly at the warmth granted by the sun. It wasn't often there were days like this, and she was happy to absorb every last bit of sunlight she could. As she settled in to groom herself, Heronpaw's ears flicked up at Fernpaw's calling together of everyone, and trotted over to join the other apprentices. "Yes Fernpaw, what is it?" the she-cat purred, delighted in all the other cats who were currently assembled.
