Patchpaw's Hunting Mission. [SOLO]

Patchpaw crouched low to the ground, he opened his mouth and inhaled deeply. He could smell prey all around him, it made his mouth water, but first he'd have to bring some home for the elders and queens.

He twitched his ears, he could hear something stalking through the wiry grass, he bunched his muscles preparing to pounce.

Patchpaw scented a big juicy rabbit, he crept closer before springing at it.

'Hunting Dice' : 7

Patchpaw sunk his teeth into the rabbits neck, killing it instantly. He pushed some dirt over the rabbit and got back on all fours, after all the clan needed to be fed.

He was careful not to rustle the snow covered grass. Luckily for him the snow camouflaged him perfectly.. Nearly. He took a sharp inhale and snuck around, searching for something juicy.

Unfortunately what Patchpaw didn't realise was that delicious smell was actually coming from a giant...

'Predator Dice' :

Patchpaws eye widened once he realised what trouble he'd just gotten himself into. He flattened his ears, luckily he had the advantage from springing upon the eagle. He had landed on the eagles back. He raked his claws across the eagles face, aiming for its eyes, he struck his mark and blinded the eagle. It flapped at the ground, throwing Patchpaw to the ground with a nasty thump. The eagle took off.

Patchpaw relaxed a little, thinking he had scared it off. When suddenly it swooped down, making one more attack. It had clawed Patchpaws flank, leaving a sizeable cut. It once again disappeared into the sky, this time not coming back.

Patchpaw decided he'd had enough of hunting. He collected his prize: A rabbit and some eagle feathers, then slowly made his way back to the WindClan camp.
