Elkkit's Apprentice Ceremony

It was yet another day, and yet another ceremony. ThunderClan was growing well with apprentices, and the she-cat couldn't be any prouder. Swiftly, she jumped up and called.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the High Rock for a clan meeting!"

Elkkit made his way to the High Rock. His mother had well-prepared him for this day and was looking as clean and careful as ever. His steps were long and proud and he finally settled in before the she-cat. Today was his day.

It was quite adorable to see the growing kit, and to-be paw, all groomed up. "Elkkit, please step forward. You have reached the age of six moons, and thus, it is time you become an apprentice. Until you receive your warrior name, you shall be known as Elkpaw. Roseeye will be your mentor."

Elkkit glowed with pride- the kit stepped forward, smiling, unable to control his mouth. “Thank you,” he said quickly, eyes twinkling. He looked to the crowd for Roseeye. He had never been so excited in his six moons of life.
