Swift the Skyclan loner (Closed’

Swiftkit sat alone by the nursery entrance. She was lonely but didn’t show it around the others. Now that she was alone tho she let her frown show and slowly tears started to fall. She didn’t understand why she was cursed with being different than her siblings and why she couldn’t play with them normally.

Lilykit padded up to her sister. ”Hey, what’s wrong?” She sat down next to Swiftkit. She licked her comfortingly. Lilykit thought she knew why her sister was sad. ”Being deaf isn’t a bad thing! It makes you special.” She smiled at the deaf kit, looking into her eyes. ”Really.”

Swiftkit shook her head at her sister understanding some of the words she said. “Lonely.” she mewed leaning her head on her sisters shoulder.

Lilykit looked at her. ”You can always find me if you are lonely.” She smiled.

Swiftkit looked at lilykit with a shake of her head. “Play” she mewed at her telling her that she was busy playing with the other kits to be with her.

Lilykit was confused for a moment, but then figured it out.”I can always play with you. Or you could just join us!” She looked into her eyes sincerely.

Swiftkit shook her head. “Gone.” she mewed and curled her tail around her paws sadly. Whenever the other kits played they always forgot she was there.

Lilykit looked at her, ”I promise I will always include you!” She insisted.

Swiftkit looked up at her sister and decided to try a new word. “L-li-lilyk-it...Lilykit, Love.” she mewed.

Lilykit was so happy. ”I love you too Swiftkit!” She licked her forehead.

Swiftkit licked her shoulder before getting into a playful pose. “Play.” she mewed loudly.

Lilykit smiled, standing out, ”Ok, what do you want to play?” She asked.

“Game.” she mewed not knowing the different games.

Lilykit thought for a minute. ”We could play Mossball, or hide and seek, or tag...” she listed of games that she could play with Swiftkit.

She nodded when the second one was called.

Lilykit smiled. ”Hide and Seek? Ok. Do you want to hide first?” She got up.

Swiftkit nodded and went to go find a hiding spot. When she noticed a hole in the muddy ground from the melting snow she hid inside it as her brown pelt blended in with the mud.

Lilykit closed her eyes, counting. ”One..two, three, four...” She counted, until she reached thirty. ”Ready or not, here I come!” She mewed, looking for the brown pelt of her sister. As she looked around, she couldn’t find her sister. Hmmmm.... she thought. As she saw a muddy hole, she passed it, it was full of brown mud, nothing stood out. As she thought for a moment, she turned back. ”I found you Swiftkit!” She giggled.

Swiftkit didn’t hear her sister so stayed in the hole knowing she was close by the ground movements.

Lilykit poked her head down the hole. ”Swiftkit!” She mewed.

Swiftkit saw her sister and jumped out of the hole. Her fluffy fur was all muddy and sticking to her so she tried to shake it off but it was to thick and already starting to dry.

Lilykit laughed. ”I’m gonna hide now. You count!” Lilykit started to run around the camp, looking for a place to hide. She saw a bush and crawled into it, hiding in there.

Swiftkit counted in her head. She finished and looked around, she knew she couldn’t use hearing so she used smell instead. She followed the scent towards a bush and pounced on her.

Lilykit grinned. ”Nice job.”

She smiled happily at her and swatted Lily’s face with her paw.
