A swift hunt in the maple leaves and lilies (Closed)

Swiftpaw was going on a hunting patrol with her siblings and also, shockingly, the leader. Maplepaw was lucky to have silver star but Swiftpaw was happy to share HawkFlight with lilypaw. She waited silently, of course, by the camp entrance for the others.

Lilypaw hurried out towards Swiftpaw, excited to go hunting. She grinned, waiting for her siblings.

Maplepaw was only a few steps behind Silverstar, silently keeping an eye on his deaf sibling. He was prepared to help her navigate, but for now she seemed perfectly fine. Maplepaw's ears perked as his eyes gaze up towards the tree leaves. His bright eyes gazed over the leaves as he trotted forward in the patrol, his paws accidentally kicking up leaf litter.

His ears twitched as he fought the urge to chase after the leaves. I'm not a kit anymore, He had thought, quickly turning his gaze towards the front of the patrol, his untrained ears perked for prey. He had a slight bounce in his step. He was excited. His first hunting patrol, and he felt like he could make his mentor proud. His paws itched to climb up the trees, and chase prey up in its branches. Maplepaw knew he could be a great climber. He just needed to practice.
