Bittersweet {OPEN}

Blackclaw watched as the kits tried to come up ideas for what warriors do. Once sweet(Star) started telling everyone what to do he almost swatted the kit when she told him that medicine cats couldn’t fight. “W-We...C-Ca-Can...F-Fi-Fig-Fight!” he almost hissed but stayed nice for the kit’s sake.

Halfkit lurked outside the nursery, mostly-black pelt blending in with the shadows. His frame was small but sturdy as he was beginning to fill out to almost his full adult size. Brilliant blue eyes were trained on Sweetkit and her little group and he glowered. Instead of pretending to be a leader and flaunting around on top of a stump because you were too mouse-brained to get a little dirt on your paws, why not do a little battle training instead? Halfkit growled under his breath, the noise rising to a dark chuckle as he stalked over to the stump. He, unlike other kits, wasn't afraid to get dirty. He didn't like his pelt very much anyway. Sweetkit was annoying, he decided, so he would--...Wait.

The chimera tomkit stopped mid-stalk. Darkkit was there too. He actually liked Darkkit, she was nice and a little feather-brained, but that was alright. She made up for it by being...cute. He would hold off on his leader-usurping...for now. Instead, he padded the rest of the way over and situated himself near Darkkit. Darkflower. "All cats can fight, duh. Medicine cats choose not to fight, right? They have to heal cats instead. You would know that if you paid attention to anything except yourself, Sweetkit." He didn't bother adding "star" to her name. In his eyes, she didn't deserve it.

As Blackclaw corrected her, annoyance flashed in her eyes, although she dipped her head graciously-- well, as much grace a kit could, anyways-- and looked at him. "My apologies, Blackclaw. What I meant was, uh... Medicine cats don't generally fight. They're much too important for that. I mean, yo-" Sweetstar cut herself off short as another kit marched over. Uh, was it.... Holekit? Molekit? Hailkit? Oh, that's right, Halfkit. The ugly little chimera kit with a nasty attitude. Rude, much. Still, if he wanted to play, she supposed she could give him an apprentice or maybe a Warrior name. After all, Darkflower needed an apprentice to train.

However, much to her surprise and annoyance, he insulted her, practically calling her conceited and idiotic. Her pelt bristled, blue eyes flaring. How dare this ugly little tom disrespect her? He wasn't better than her! "How dare a lowlife kitten like you insult me! If your not gonna play nice, then leave us be. Briarglow, Darkflower, Blackclaw, we have a patrol to be on, let's leave Halfidiot alone, since he wants to have a carrion-attitude."

With that, she turned on her heel and leaped off the tree stump, gesturing for the others to follow, her tail held high. Sweetstar was much too good for a dumb kit like Halfkit. And she did too pay attention to othher things, like Briarglow and Coalspark. Hmph, shows just how dumb he was!

Briarkit looked towards Blackclaw with raised eyebrows, then soon Halfkit came his way over. Why did he have to ruin their fun? And he was being mean to Sweetkit! ”Hey! Halfkit! Leave her alone!” hissed the kit, leaping onto him with anger. Her eyes hardened. ”Don’t ever insult Sweetkit again.” she said, letting him up. She walked back towards her sister, following her off with a glare back at the tom. Nobody insulted her family and got away with it!

Blackclaw sighed and grabbed briarkit by the scruff and sent her down while blocking her from halfkit. "It doesn't matter what the he other cat says, it matters what you do when it's said." He mewed his advice to the black kit. As a medicine cat it was his duty to heal but also to show kindness.

Blackclaw looked at sweetkit with a smile. "If you guys don't like what halfkit says than just ignore him and keep playing." He said before realizing the time. " Its time for me to go back to being the medicine cat, Hope you all have fun and don't fight." He mewed before padding away with one final glance at the kits .
