A fiery prank (Closed)

Firekit padded around camp really bored. She noticed her aunt and smirked. The little ginger kit padded up to Ferretpaw and spooked her. “What you doin?” she mewed scaring Ferretpaw.

Ferretpaw jumped as her niece approached her. ”Ack! Firekit, don’t scare me like that. Bit not much. Wanna do something fun?” she mewed, her eyes lighting up. The two weren’t very far in age, and they could get up to some fun trouble together.

She smiled her evil smile and nodded. “What are we going to do?” she asked jumping up and down in excitement.

Ferretpaw giggled. ”We should prank someone! Maybe your dad!” she smriked, imaging Badgerstorm getting pranked.

She thought about it and even though she was scared she took the risk. “Yes let’s do it!” she mewed happily.

Ferretpaw thought for a moment on how to do it. ”We should put some bugs in his nest!” she exclaimed, letting out a little cackle and nudging Firekit.

Firekit smiled and laughed. “That will be so funny!” she mewed starting to look around for some bugs.

Ferretpaw nodded. She found a small wet hole and dug up a few worms, then she grabbed some beetles and made a a pile of them, echoing the ones they would make when they hunted.

Firekit found some of her own bugs and put them in the pile. “Wouldn’t dad be mad at me?” she asked still adding bugs to the pile.

Ferretpaw hadnk5 thought of that. ”We’ll just say it was my idea!” she didn’t want Badgerstorm to get mad at her daughter, that could delay her apprenticeship. That had happened to Ferretpaw and she didn’t want Firekit to share the experience.

Firekit nodded and looked at the pile. “I think we have enough.” she mewed.

Ferretpaw giggled. [coloor=#ffcc00]”Ok, now take some and put them in his nest.”[/color] she grabbed a clump of them , then buried them into the moss he had made his nest. Luckily, no warriors were present.

Firekit followed after Ferretpaw and did the same but to the other side of the moss.

Ferretpaw ran out of the den, waiting for her older brother to return from hunting. She sat, at a good point where she could watch him enter and know exactly where he was coming.

Firekit hide besides Ferretpaw.



BadgerStorm padded into camp with prey in his jaws. He set the prey down before going off to his nest for a nice nap. He wasn’t expecting bugs for sure and quickly jumped out and looked around knowing exactly did it. “FERRETPAW! GET YOUR TAIL OVER HERE!” He yelled.

Ferretpaw’s laugh slowly faded as her brother yelled. She looked back at Firekit before tentatively heading over to her brother. ”Hi Badgerstorm.” she mewed, trying to save herself from his brotherly rage.

“Why are there bugs in my nest!” he hissed as his tail lashed from behind him. He had yet to notice his daughter.

Firekit god behind Ferretpaw as her father got mad. She had never seen him mad before and it was scary.

Ferretpaw hadn’t expected him to react like this. She genuinely felt bad. ”Sorry. W-I mean, I was bored and what’re something to do.” she didn’t want to give away Firekit.

“Well now, if your so bored, clean my nest and get me a new one!” he hissed before turning around to the nursery to see Oakleap as she always calmed him down.


Firekit looked at Ferretpaw with fear in her eyes happy that she wasn’t the one who got yelled at.

Ferretpaw scowled. ”I’m glad your daughter got to see you like that!” she mewed sarcastically. She looked back down to Firekit. ”Sorry!” she said, grabbing some moss from the medicine den to replace her brother’s ruined nest.

Firekit decided to help out with the nest. She carried out parts of the old one while Ferretpaw got the new one ready.

Ferretpaw smiled as Firekit helped her.
