| Silverpaw got out from her den early. She yawned, jaw stretching wide. Shaking moss out of her pelt, she walked out of the apprentice’s den, slightly tired from her training. The first days of sunlight hit her silver fur, making it seem even more brighter and silkier. She sighed, and decided to go hunt in the forest. “The Clan needs to eat anyways...” Silverpaw said to herself, slowly padding towards the entrance of camp, nodding at the few cats who where now awake. She didn’t really mind that she was a light sleeper, she always felt recharged and ready. |

| Having just returned from a territory patrol with Cloudbreeze, Bigpaw let out a yawn. Part of him wanted to go back to sleep in his nest, but he knew if he slept again, it'd be hard to get back up later. Looking around camp, the large apprentice spotted Silverpaw, one of the clan's newer apprentices. She seemed nice, though he hadn't really hung out with her much. Maybe now that he had time he could spend some time with her, seeing as though he didn't have anything better to do.
"Hey, where ya goin'?" Bigpaw asked as he made his way over to her, his large fuzzy paws thumping against the earth as he walked. |

| Silverpaw turned around to see Bigpaw, an older apprentice. “Oh, hi! You played mossball with me when I was a kit, right?” She asked, flicking her silvery tail. “I’m just going out to hunt...I don’t...normally like to invite other cats to hunt with me...I am shy after all.” Silverpaw said softly. |

| Listening as the apprentice spoke and nodding in agreement, he remembered her as well, though he wasn't very good when it came to remembering names. Stonepaw... or maybe it was Silverpaw? Well, whatever her name was, he'd find out soon enough.
"A hunt? Sounds like fun!" the boisterous apprentice exclaimed, completely disregarding the fact that she seemed like a more reserved cat. If a hunt was what she was doing, he was all for it and couldn't wait to get started. With his fluffy tail swishing back and forth, the large footed apprentice bounded a couple foxlengths forward like a playful kit. "Well, what are you waiting for?" he mewed, making his way out of camp.

| Silverpaw frowned slightly at the cream-brown tabby tom. Didn’t she just say that she preferred to hunt alone? “Right...sure. Let’s go then...” Silverpaw followed the tom outside of camp. Soon enough, the arrived at a place in the forest with plenty of undergrowth and trees. Sniffing the air, she detected some prey scent...a lot of prey scent. “This seems like a pretty good spot to me...what do you think?” Silverpaw flicked her tail, nodding at Bigpaw. |

| Padding alongside Silverpaw, they soon arrived at a spot that was covered in prey scent. Turning his gaze towards the silver she-cat, a wide grin grew on his muzzle. "It's perfect!" he exclaimed, excited to begin.
Opening his jaw and raising his head, Bigpaw began to make his way away from the other apprentice. Soon enough, he spotted a frog just a few foxlengths ahead. Now was his time to shine and show her how great of a warrior he'd be one day. Crouching down, his fluffy golden, ginger fur brushed along the ground bellow and the tip of his tail swished back and forth in anticipation. His paws itched with excitement as he grew closer to the prey and not wanting to wait too long, he leapt forward, letting out a playful growl as he did so.
Landing squarely onto the frog, he gave it a swift bite before it could even croak. Standing up with his head high and a smile still on his muzzle, he brought the prey back to where he'd left Silverpaw. "Roo Weasy! he mewed, though his words were muffled from the frog in his jaws. He'd been taught not to speak with his mouth full, but did the scatterbrained tom remember such a thing? Of course not. |

| Silverpaw nodded respectfully towards the tom, before tracking down her own prey. It was a mouse and she loved to eat mice. Dropping low into her hunting couch, she moved slowly and carefully towards the mouse, before pouncing and trapping the poor mouse underneath her paw. Using her other paw, she unsheathes her claws and killed it with a strike to the neck. Digging a hole in the ground, Silverpaw dropped her mouse in it and buried it nicely.

| Watching as Silverpaw caught a mouse, Bigpaw was glad they both had caught some prey. "Nice catch!" he called from where he stood, unaware that he probably scarred off every other piece of prey in the forest. |
